Tallinna Raekoda (Tallinn Town Hall - 14th Century)

Festival's Opening Gala will be held in the majestic Tallinn Town Hall.
Partnering with the Annual Medieval Days Festival of Tallinn, the Alion Baltic is proud to present the festival soloist, President of the "Talents of the World" Foundation, David Gvinianidze.



THE OLDEST SURVIVING TOWN HALL in the Baltic countries and Scandinavia, Tallinn Town Hall was first mentioned as early as 13th century.
In its present form it was completed in 1404 when Tallinn was a flourishing Hanseatic city.
The management of the city worked in the Town Hall until 1970. Since 1975 the Town Hall functions as the ceremonial building of the city government, but it also serves as a concert hall and a museum.



The Russian Cultural Center - The home of the Alion Baltic International Orchestra

The Russian Cultural Center of Tallinn is the steadfast partner and supporter of The Alion Baltic International Music Festival.
For the Third Consercutive Season The Russian Cultural Center will actively present many of the Alion baltic Festival events, including the ceremony award of the Alion Baltic International Competition, The concert of Award-Winning Piano Ensemble (Israel), The Gala Concert of Alion Baltic International Orchestra.


Many of the Festival-2017 Master Classes will be presented in the Center's Chamber Hall.

The Russian Cultural Centre (the former House of the Officers of the Fleet in Tallinn) is an eye-catching neo-classicist building. It was constructed after World War II, when Tallinn was still home to the headquarters of the Baltic Fleet. The facade of the building, which bears some truly unique features, was completed in 1954.

Its beautiful interior houses a large collection of navy-themed paintings and decorative elements.

Today the building is home to almost 30 choirs, vocal groups, drama troupes, choreography collectives and other creative groups.



Estonian Academy of Music And Theatre

Alion Baltic International Music Festival gives its warmest regards to the Estonian Academy of Music And Theatre (Tallinn).

Most of the activities of the Alion Baltic Festival 2015 took place at the Academy's cozy Chamber Hall.

Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre is the only public university in Estonia offering education in music and drama. In addition to vocalists and instrumentalists, conductors, composers, musicologists, music teachers and sound engineers are also trained in Bachelor’s programmes. On the Master’s level, the list of curricula include the chamber ensemble, accompaniment class, contemporary improvisation and cultural management. Curricula of interpretation specialties focus on specialty, ensemble and orchestral performances or Opera Studio; music theory and history, as well as other humanities are also studied. It is possible to obtain teacher’s qualification.

The Russian Drama Theater in Tallinn

The Russian Theater of Tallinn hosted 2 of the most important concerts of season 2016: Solo recitals by Oxana Yablonskaya and Daniel Pollack as part of the Alion Baltic International Music Festival 2016.
